We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our busy indoor play café.

Our venue is a fun, family-oriented space with a strong focus on weekend parties and functions. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want a role with daytime hours only (no late nights!), this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver high-quality café-style meals

- Manage kitchen operations during busy service periods, especially weekends

- Coordinate food preparation for parties and functions

- Control food costs, stock ordering, and minimise waste

- Plan and manage staff rosters effectively

- Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene

- Work closely with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

About You

- Proven experience as a chef in a busy café or similar environment





- Strong ability to handle high-volume service, particularly on weekends

- Skilled in cost control, budgeting, and stock management

- Experience with staff rostering and kitchen organisation

- Reliable, efficient, and a team player

- Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
