About the Opportunity:
As part of our commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nursing students, we are offering a $5,000 per annum Scholarship, alongside flexible part‑time work that complements your Bachelor of Nursing studies. Opportunity to work as an Assistant in Nursing at any of the following Opal HealthCare locations: Orange Grove Care Community, Bathurst Riverview Care Community and Dubbo Homestead Care Community.

Eligibility Criteria:
This scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are:
Currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing Degree
Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
Be part of our team for at least six months (and meet all the program criteria) before applying for the scholarship
Committed to work at Opal HealthCare for two years after graduation
Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold the right to work in Australia
A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
A willingness to learn, listen, and follow direction.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical, police check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
