Employment Type: Part-Time (2-3 days per week)

Remuneration: $50.00 - $65.00/hr + Performance Commission

About Method Aesthetics:

Method Aesthetics Melborne is an established, doctor-led cosmetic clinic located in the heart of Collingwood, VIC. We focus on safe, evidence-based treatments and natural-looking results in a new modern, design-led environment.

We priortise patient safety, ethical practice, and long-term care over high-volume models. Led by a Medical Director who is an official Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for ALMA Lasers and a clinical trainer & KOL for Revanesse, we heavily invest in clinical education and career development for our team.

The Role & Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Cosmetic Registered Nurse (2+ years injecting experience) to join our team on a part time basis (2-3 days per week); with primary availability required for peak clinical days on Friday and Saturday.

In this role, you will manage a dedicated treatment book spanning routine S4 injectables, advanced structural fillers and light/laser skin therapies.

Advanced Clinical Upskilling Included:

As you embed into the clinic, our Medical Director will personally train and mentor you in advanced injecting techniques - including non-surgical rhinoplasty (nose filler), temple volumisation, and specialised lip contouring (e.g., Swedish lip technique) - alongside 1-on-1 coaching in consultation psychology, patient trust, and business-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive clinical patient assessments, facial mapping, and consultation workflows adhering to AHPRA and TGA compliance guidelines.

- Administer Schedule 4 cosmetic injectables (anti-wrinkle and dermal fillers)

under direct doctor prescription and protocols.

- Perform non-ablative laser and light-based treatments (including Alma Dye VL, ClearLift, and advanced dermal therapies).

- Master advanced facial regions and high-precision techniques under direct 1-on-1 Doctor supervision and strict vascular safety protocols.

- Apply doctor mentorship strategies to master consultation conversations, re-booking workflows, and long-term client retention.

- Maintain meticulous clinical records, before-and-after photo documentation, and consent forms in our EMR system.

- Maintain strict infection control standards, room sanitisation, and emergency complication protocols.

Qualifications & Experience Required

- AHPRA Registration: Current, unrestricted Division 1 Registered Nurse (RN) registration in Australia.

- Injecting Background: Minimum 2+ years of continuous, hands-on clinical experience administering Schedule 4 cosmetic injectables (anti-wrinkle and dermal fillers).

- Laser Certification: Current AS/NZS 4173 Laser Safety Officer (LSO) Certificate (or willingness to complete prior to commencement).

- Clinical Excellence: Sound knowledge of facial anatomy, emergency complication protocols (including vascular occlusion management), and patient safety standards.

- Growth Mindset: Strong desire to refine your clinical skills in advanced anatomical regions and learn consultation framing under doctor guidance.

- Insurances:

Current Professional Indemnity Insurance and First Aid / CPR certifications.

What We Offer

- Direct KOL Mentorship: 1-on-1 clinical training from an official industry KOL and brand trainer (Alma Lasers / Revanesse) covering complex filler techniques and laser therapies.

- Practice Growth Coaching: Learn how to communicate value, build patient rapport, increase client retention, and grow a highly profitable treatment book.

- Doctor-Backed Environment: Real-time medical doctor supervision, seamless S4 prescribing workflows (face-to-face and video telehealth), and robust emergency clinical backup.

- Targeted Tech Scope: Access to industry-leading light and energy devices (Alma Dye VL, ClearLift) alongside routine injectables (surgical/ablative lasers and penile procedures remain doctor-only).

- Competitive Earnings: Generous base rate ($50–$65+/hr depending on experience) + structured performance commission.

- Work-Life Balance: Generous consultation timeframes per patient - allowing you the time needed to educate, build rapport, and deliver exceptional care.

Days & Roster

- Roster: Part-time (2–3 days per week).

- Required Availability: Fridays and Saturdays, plus 1 flexible weekday as your patient book expands.
