Jimbour State School is seeking a Principal who can lead with purpose, foster an inclusive learning workplace and support positive outcomes for students, staff and the wider school community.

This temporary full-time opportunity is available until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Jimbour State School is a rural school on the Darling Downs, approximately 15 minutes from Dalby. The school offers a supportive learning environment, excellent facilities and resources, and a broad, flexible curriculum.

- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared educational vision that promotes quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold ethical, moral and values-based leadership,



embedding socially just and inclusive practices into everyday school life.
- Set high expectations for student and staff performance while fostering lifelong learning, professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Build strategic, future-focused partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, industry and business to enhance educational opportunities.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant legislation and educational policies, strategically managing resources to achieve school priorities and goals.
