Build a Long-Term Career in a Thriving, Commercially Successful Salon

At Puppuccino Hawthorne, we believe that a highly successful business is built by looking after its team. We’ve proven that dog grooming doesn’t have to mean burnout, financial instability, or chaotic spaces. Because we run a commercially thriving salon, we are in the unique position to offer our staff genuine job security, top-tier working conditions, and a clear path for a long-term career.

When you join us, you aren't just taking a job—you are stepping into a high-performing environment where you will learn the industry's best practices for running a premier commercial salon.

How We Look After You:

- Commercial Stability for a Long-Term Career: Our robust business model and consistent clientele mean you never have to worry about job security. We offer a stable, long-term home where your career can flourish alongside our continued success.

- Learning Business Best Practices: Gain behind-the-scenes exposure to how a highly successful, profitable commercial salon operates. From workflow efficiency and client management to premium service delivery, you will learn the business of grooming from an industry leader.

- Top-Tier Remuneration: Great work drives our commercial success, and it should be rewarded properly. We offer highly competitive, reliable pay with full entitlements—no "sham contracts," no unpaid trials, and no corner-cutting.

- Premium Capital Investment: We invest heavily in industry-leading equipment to protect your body and enhance your craft. You will work with electric lifting tables, high-velocity low-noise dryers, and premium ergonomic tubs so you can enjoy your career for the long haul.

- A Cage-Free Sanctuary: By eliminating frantic noise and constant barking, we provide a clean, flowing space where you can focus on delivering world-class work in a low-stress environment.

The Role: Groomer / Assistant Groomer

You are a key driver of our salon's premium standard and operational flow.

As our Assistant Groomer, your speed, thoroughness, and attention to detail set the foundation for our styling success, while giving you hands-on experience in high-level salon operations.

Your Operational Focus:

- Precision Prep & Bathing: Executing luxury skin-and-coat treatments and thorough blow-dries to set up the ideal canvas for styling.

- Technical Detail Work: Delivering high-standard brushing, de-shedding, precise nail trims, and safe, efficient ear cleaning.

- Commercial Salon Standards: Maintaining a pristine, organized environment that presents like a high-end studio at all times, mastering the visual and hygienic standards required for commercial success.

- Team Efficiency & Workflow: Working seamlessly with Senior Groomers to master the timing and scheduling strategies that keep a profitable salon moving smoothly without ever sacrificing safety or quality.

What We Expect from You:

- Commercial Awareness & Pace: You understand that a commercially successful salon relies on smooth timing, clear communication, and absolute consistency in every client interaction.

- High Performance & Accountability: You take ownership of your work, maintain a clean space, and hold yourself to an exceptional qualified standard.

- TEAM First Mentality: We live by our core values: Togetherness, Excellence, Accountability, and Mutual Respect. We run a drama-free, ego-free environment built entirely on mutual support.

- Relevant Experience or High Aptitude: Salon, vet, or daycare experience is a major plus. If you have a strong work ethic, high coachability, and a natural handle on dogs, we will train you to excel in a commercial setting.
