Franchising Paralegal - An opportunity to make your mark in an established FMCG business

Our client, a growing FMCG business, is looking for an experienced Franchising Paralegal to join their team on an initial 6 month FTC basis, with strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity for a true franchising subject matter expert to bring their knowledge, influence key business outcomes and contribute to an innovative AI project that will help transform the way the business operates.

The role:

Working closely with key stakeholders across Legal, Franchise Operations and the broader business, you’ll provide specialist franchising support, manage key documentation and help ensure the franchise network operates effectively and compliantly.

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to be part of an exciting AI project, exploring ways to streamline legal processes, automate workflows and improve efficiency across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

- Preparing, reviewing and managing franchise agreements, disclosure documents, renewals, variations and transfers.
- Supporting compliance with applicable franchising legislation, the Franchising Code of Conduct and related regulatory requirements.
- Acting as the go-to person for franchising matters, providing specialist knowledge and practical guidance.
- Working closely with key stakeholders,



franchisees and external legal advisers to deliver commercially focused outcomes.
- Contributing to an AI project focused on improving documentation, automating processes and driving efficiencies.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, documentation and franchise operations.

About you:

You’re a commercially minded legal professional with strong franchising experience, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to work collaboratively across a business:

- Proven experience as a Franchising Paralegal or in a similar franchising-focused legal role.
- In-depth franchising knowledge — you must be a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of franchise agreements, disclosure requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- An interest in AI, technology and finding smarter ways of working.
