JD Timber is looking for a reliable, experienced driver to join our team at our Dingley Village timber yard, splitting time between forklift work in the yard and medium rigid truck deliveries.
About the role
- Operating a forklift to load, unload and move timber packs around the yard
- Delivering timber to building sites, trade customers and homes across Melbourne
- Securing long and heavy loads safely, including pre-start checks and load restraint
- Handling delivery dockets and basic paperwork
- [Hours, e.g. Monday–Friday, 7am start]
- [Rate, e.g. $30-40 per hour + GST]
You'll need
- A current ABN (contract position)
- MR (Medium Rigid) driver licence
- Forklift High Risk Work Licence (LF)
- Experience in both roles; timber, building supplies or hardware experience a bonus
- Positive knowledge of Melbourne's south-east
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
