We're Auswide Building & Masonry, a bricklaying crew out of Newcastle. We've got six crews going on houses, schools and commercial jobs, and we need another labourer.
What you'll be doing
- Mixing mud and keeping the brickies in bricks, blocks and mortar
- Setting up in the morning and packing up in the arvo
- Cutting bricks and blocks [once we've shown you how]
- Keeping the site tidy and protected
- Loading and unloading materials and gear
What you'll need
- White Card
- Licence and a car that gets you to site around Newcastle, the Hunter and the Central Coast
- To turn up on time, every day
- To be right with hard physical work, early starts and being outside all day
- To be OK getting a police check and Working With Children Check, because a lot of our work is on schools
