Looking for a reliable NDIS Support Worker for client in South Eastern Suburbs who also has a physical disability (mobility issues that require some assistance, ie helping carry things, guidance while walking, sometimes pushing a wheelchair if things get too much, so must be physically able). Their secondary disability is ASD level 2, high functioning socially, childhood diagnosed, well managed. Potential worker must have at least 3 years experience, preferably more. Duties include escorting the client to medical appointments and keeping track of the progress, general day to day assistance with community access, providing companionship but knowing how to respect boundaries, emotionally stability and reliable transport. Punctuality, reliability, honesty and integrity are all expected and given. Some mentoring would be likely and also the chance to possibly escort the client on weekend overnight trips. Some home assistance required and will be essential due to clients mobility.



Easygoing and fun client. Their special interests include bushwalks, collecting old technology, photography, nature, conversations about cars, conversations about a very specific handful of films, and they also are passionate about making music. They are quite socially anxious so some patience will be required as well as empathy and understanding. The position is open for 3-4 days a week at this stage, looking to seek someone ongoing.
