We prepare and sell freshly made naan, bread and other bakery products to local customers. We are looking for one reliable and hardworking Bakery Worker to join our small team and assist with the day-to-day running of the bakery. About the role Your duties will include: * Serving customers and taking orders * Using the cash register/POS and handling customer payments * Preparing, portioning and packing bakery products * Assisting the chef/baker with basic food preparation * Packing orders for customers * Restocking bakery products, ingredients and supplies * Keeping the bakery, counters and work areas clean and organised * Washing and cleaning equipment and work areas as required * Following food safety,
hygiene and workplace procedures * Providing friendly and helpful customer service * Assisting other team members during busy periods Requirements * Reliable and punctual * Friendly and respectful when dealing with customers * Willing to learn and follow instructions * Able to work efficiently in a busy bakery environment * Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene * Previous bakery, hospitality or food-handling experience is preferred but not essential * Food handling experience is an advantage * Must be willing to follow food safety and workplace hygiene requirements Training will be provided for applicants who are willing to learn.
