- Directing Trucks: Guiding incoming grain trucks and heavy vehicles safely into the shedor bunker area.
- Unloading Loads: Assisting truck drivers in releasing grain from their trailers into the sheds or storage bunkers
Site Hygiene & Housekeeping
- Sweeping Grids: Consistently sweeping up spilt grain around siteto ensure a clean work workplace and prevent pest contamination.
- Bunker Maintenance: Rolling, pulling back, or securing heavy tarpaulins (tarps) used to cover massive outdoor grain storage bunkers.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operating Machinery: Running grain-handling equipment like augers or basic farm tractors (if trained and licensed).
- Pre-Operational Checks: Performing daily routine inspections on tools and basic equipment before shifts start.
