We are looking for an experienced HC Driver to join our team in the transporting of steel & building materials, the opportunity to join one of the largest supermarket brands and also the chance to join with one of the nation's largest car carrying groups.
Applicant requirements:
- Driver of at least 1 year experience.
- Has good reversing skills to access driveways & loading docks.
- Current and valid HC license
- Current & Valid AFP Police Check (Within last 12 months)
- Clean Driver History Record (within last 12 months)
- Have an ABN/ACN or willing to register as a company
- Flexibility to work with different start/finish times
- Strong work ethic & customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with load restraint strapping and dogs & chains - training will be provided for the right candidate if required.
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
- Driver knowledge of vehicle - conducting daily truck/trailer pre-checks accurately completing and submitting required documentation as per company standards
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ensuring safe transport of brand new cars to respective dealerships.
- Deliveries to be made locally, regional & interstate - depending on the schedule.
