Description

We are looking for an experienced Sales Assistant / Barista to join our team at a busy convenience store and cafe.

This is a weekend-only position, with the potential to pick up additional shifts during the week when required.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Previous barista experience is essential
- Must be available to work every weekend
- Ability to make quality coffee efficiently and consistently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous retail, convenience store or hospitality experience is highly regarded
- Flexible availability to cover additional weekday shifts when required

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and serving coffee to a high standard
- Providing friendly and professional customer service




- Operating POS and handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Restocking shelves and maintaining displays
- Checking product dates and rotating stock
- Keeping the cafe and store clean, organised and presentable
- Assisting customers with product enquiries
- Following store procedures and maintaining a high standard of service
