Description

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and experienced Sales Assistant to join our team at a convenience store.

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong work ethic and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience
- Must have weekend availability
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
- Previous convenience store, retail or hospitality experience is highly regarded
- Barista experience is preferred but not essential

Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Operating the POS and handling cash and EFTPOS transactions




- Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays
- Checking product dates and maintaining stock rotation
- Keeping the store clean, organised and presentable
- Assisting customers with product enquiries
- Following store procedures and maintaining a high standard of service
