Description

Sushi World has been making fresh, handmade sushi for Sydney since 1996. We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join our store at Macquarie Centre.

THE ROLE

You'll be the face of our store – serving customers, keeping our displays fresh and full, and making sure every customer leaves happy. The shift runs 9:30am to 3:00pm, so you'll be finished by mid-afternoon.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Greet and serve customers with a smile

- Take orders and process payments (cash and EFTPOS)

- Pack and present sushi and other menu items

- Keep the counter, display fridges and shelves stocked, neat and well presented

- Help with basic food preparation as needed (training provided)

- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including temperature checks and cleaning

- Answer customer questions about menu items and allergens

- Keep the store clean and tidy throughout the day

- Help with receiving deliveries and rotating stock

- Friendly,



positive and confident speaking with customers

- Reliable and punctual

– you turn up on time, every shift

- Able to work quickly and stay calm during the lunch rush

- Valuable attention to detail and cleanliness

- Comfortable standing for long periods

- Good spoken English - Previous retail, hospitality or food service experience is a bonus, but not essential

- Must have full Australian working rights
