ROLE DESCRIPTION / COMPANY BRIEF

Drake International is partnering with a well-established national allied health and disability services provider experiencing significant growth across Metro Sydney. Due to continued expansion, opportunities are available across Blacktown, Campbelltown, Croydon Park, Hornsby, Liverpool, North Rocks and Sylvania for Behaviour Support Practitioners at Core, Proficient and Senior levels.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support NDIS participants with complex behavioural needs, delivering evidence-based behaviour support interventions that improve quality of life and reduce restrictive practices. Leadership opportunities are also available for experienced practitioners looking to mentor and supervise junior clinicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

- Develop Functional Behaviour Assessments and develop person-centred Behaviour Support Plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and behavioural strategies to participants, families and support networks
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve positive participant outcomes
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Commission requirements and contribute to restrictive practice reduction initiatives

KEY REQUIREMENTS





- Relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Education or a related discipline
- NDIS Behaviour Support suitability at Core, Proficient or Advanced/Senior level
- Experience supporting individuals with disability, mental health, psychosocial or complex behavioural presentations
- Current driver's license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within your local region
