The Role
Working within a friendly team setting your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake inpatient billing functions relating to patient accounts
- Ensure accurate raising of accounts in accordance with the relevant contracts, policies and procedures
- Action daily reports and correspondence with health funds
- Escalate billing issues to the Billing Manager once identified
- Contribute to the achievement of team targets and goals set out by management
- Provide customer-focused service to both internal and external staff
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous accounts receivable / billing experience gained in the healthcare sector
- Systems savvy with and intermediate level of MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
