This is perfect if you like the variety of contract work however do not want to be worrying all the time about where and when your next contract is!

Job details

- $128,075.00 per annum pro rata + 12% superannuation and an extra 25% casual loading taking your total salary package to $160,093.75 plus super!
- Return flights in and out of community each swing
- Fully furnished accommodation provided whilst in community - single
- Car provided for use in community

You will be working within a fantastic, committed and supportive team who really value the job that you do. As a Remote Area Nurse, you will provide comprehensive primary healthcare within the community, with a focus on promoting health, preventing illness, and managing chronic conditions.

The Location
You will be living in a small, remote Aboriginal community located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, along the Gibb River Road.



The community is rich in culture, strongly connected to Country, and supported by a close-knit local population. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a culturally significant setting, contribute meaningfully to community wellbeing, and experience life in one of Australia’s most remarkable landscapes.

To be eligible for this position, you must (or be willing to obtain) the following:

- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- Demonstrated Primary health/Remote Area Nursing experience
- Evidence of career development to meet the competency requirement of a Remote Area Nurse.
- Current C class WA manual driver’s license and able to travel by 4WD and light aircraft when required.
- Ideally have completed REC And MEC competencies
- 4WD Certificate and the ability to drive a manual
