The Opportunity
As a Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting stock requirements, coordinating replenishment activities, and supporting efficient supply chain operations.
Working closely with customers, suppliers, warehouse teams, and transport operations, you'll help ensure stock availability, maintain inventory accuracy, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Planning & Replenishment
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand requirements.
- Develop and manage stock replenishment plans.
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders with approved suppliers.
- Ensure adequate stock availability while minimising excess inventory.
- Coordinate new product launches, promotional stock, and pricing updates.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to ensure supply continuity.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on delivery confirmations and resolve supply issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with customer supply chain teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate stock shortages, risks, and supply concerns proactively.
Inventory Control & Warehouse Support
- Conduct inventory audits and stock investigations.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
- Investigate damaged stock and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and process compliance.
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse inventory and operational data.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Customer & Transport Coordination
- Coordinate customer inventory requirements and outbound deliveries.
- Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to meet service expectations.
- Assist with delivery planning across metro and regional operations.

Ideally You Will Have
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Logistics, Procurement, Warehousing, or Transport.
- Experience working with inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
- FMCG, retail, warehousing, or logistics industry experience will be highly regarded.
