About the opportunity:

Our Learning and Teaching team is seeking a passionate and collaborative Learning Designer to work closely with academic subject matter experts and teaching staff to design, develop, and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences across a diverse range of courses and disciplines. The Learning Designer play a key role in creating sustainable, engaging, and evidence-based learning and assessment experiences that support student success.

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative educator and learning design professional who is passionate about student-centred learning, digital pedagogy, and the effective use of educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with academic staff and stakeholders to design and implement innovative learning solutions that enhance the student experience.
- Design high-quality learning activities, assessments, and educational resources grounded in contemporary learning design principles.
- Develop and publish engaging digital learning materials, including interactive online resources.
- Provide expert advice on learning design, digital pedagogy, and educational technologies.
- Support the development of inclusive, flexible, and student-centred learning experiences across a range of disciplines.
- Manage project timelines, identify delivery risks,



and ensure successful completion of learning design projects.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the University to achieve strategic learning and teaching outcomes.

About you:

- Demonstrated experience in learning design, instructional design, educational development, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of learning design principles for online, blended, and face-to-face learning environments.
- Understanding and experience with H5P is highly desirable.
- A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and disciplines in a dynamic environment to meet tight deadlines
