About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a 44 home construction project, from site commencement through to completion and handover.

The successful candidate will take ownership of site operations, ensuring works are properly planned, trades and subcontractors are coordinated, construction schedules are maintained, and projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

This is a hands-on role suited to an organised and proactive construction professional with strong leadership skills, practical building knowledge and the ability to resolve issues on site while keeping projects moving.

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and relevant experience in residential construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day site operations from commencement through to practical completion and handover.

- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades and suppliers to ensure works are completed in the correct sequence and within agreed timeframes.

- Monitor construction progress against project schedules and proactively address delays, site constraints and other issues.

- Read and interpret architectural drawings, construction details and specifications to ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved documentation.

- Maintain a safe, clean and organised worksite, ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

- Conduct regular quality inspections and identify and resolve defects or construction issues as they arise.

- Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics and trade availability to minimise delays and downtime.

- Liaise with project managers, architects, consultants, clients and other stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve site-related matters.

- Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities meet the required quality standards and applicable building requirements.

- Maintain accurate site records, report on progress and escalate issues requiring management attention.





- Coordinate final inspections, defect rectification and handover activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience as a Site Foreman, Residential Site Foreman, Building Foreman or Site Manager.

- Solid experience in residential construction, with the ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate works across different stages of a project.

- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, building methods, materials and site management practices.

- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and details.

- Proven leadership skills and the confidence to manage subcontractors, hold trades accountable and maintain site productivity.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.

- A practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving construction issues.

- Transparent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers, consultants, suppliers and clients.

- A strong commitment to workplace safety, construction quality and professional site conduct.

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian work rights.

- Relevant experience in residential construction and site supervision.

- Current White Card.

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.

- Sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
