Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic Aboriginal community-controlled organisation based in the Northern Territory to help them find Registered Nurse to join their team in this permanent role.

Job Details:

- Permanent full time or choose a Permanent FIFO option
- 2 vacancies available - relocate with a friend or job share with them
- Start date flexible, preferably in October or November
- Base salary $87,000 - $98,000 + superannuation
- Solo accommodation
- Relocation reimbursement up to $5,000
- Return travel within Australia for FIFO option
- $2,000 Curis sign-up bonus

With residents requiring low to medium care, this role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide personalised care in an Aboriginal community setting.

You will be working alongside the Facility Manager, Care Coordinator, care staff and Aboriginal Health Worker, bringing your RN skills and clinical judgement to the team.

Others who work here comment on the affection the team has for the residents and the people they care for and the enjoyment they find in their work. Weekly Wednesday BBQ lunches are one example of the community life you could become part of.

Your working day

- Morning shifts: 7am-3pm
- Afternoon shifts: 2pm-10pm
- No rostered night shifts
- An on-call requirement, with overnight calls reported to be infrequent.




- Overnight PCAs have access to a virtual nurse for advice.

Location

You will be living and working in a regional town in the Northern Territory that offers a unique lifestyle surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, rich Aboriginal culture and a strong sense of community. As a regional centre, the town provides access to essential services, shops, schools, healthcare and transport connections, while offering a more connected lifestyle than living in a highly isolated remote community.

The area is well known for its outdoor adventures, with plenty of opportunities to spend your days off exploring the natural hot springs, stunning waterfalls and spectacular scenic gorges. From exploring Nitmiluk National Park and Katherine Gorge to swimming in natural pools, hiking, fishing, camping, canoeing and four wheel driving, there is always something new to discover.

To be eligible you must:

- Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Minimum 1 years aged care experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities is highly regarded
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills,



with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively within a small multidisciplinary team
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or Recent Zealand Citizenship)
