Introduction

Lifeline Direct (LLD) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lifeline Australia. LLD focuses on supporting the development and ongoing implementation of suicide prevention and community wellbeing programs in the regions which we operate while looking for opportunities to grow Lifeline’s services in geographical areas where they do not currently exist.

LLD encompasses Lifeline Centres in Hunter region, Central Coast, Eastern Suburbs-Bondi, New England North West, Northern NSW, Geelong and South West Victoria, Northern and Western Melbourne. Our specialised and targeted services operate nationally via a telehealth model.

We're seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant & Business Partner to the CEO to provide executive support to our CEO, coordinate our Board and governance processes, and serve as a critical relationship bridge between Lifeline Direct and Lifeline Australia.

This is a unique role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys building trusted relationships and takes pride in ensuring important priorities don't fall through the cracks.

While part of your role will involve traditional executive support responsibilities, this chance is much broader than a typical Executive Assistant position. You'll work closely with senior leaders, support governance at Board level and become a trusted extension of the Lifeline Direct CEO and Executive team within the Lifeline Australia Support Office.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and based within the Lifeline Australia Support Office in Sydney CBD, this role combines executive support, governance coordination and strategic relationship management.



You will play a central role in helping Lifeline Direct remain connected, informed, engaged and represented while ensuring our governance processes operate efficiently and professionally.

You will:

Executive Support

- Provide high-level support to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
- Manage calendars, meetings, travel and executive communications
- Coordinate executive meetings and track actions to completion
- Prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials

Board & Governance Coordination

- Manage Board, FRAC and CGAC meeting schedules and annual workplans
- Coordinate agendas, papers and Board packs
- Administer BoardVantage
- Prepare minutes and maintain action registers
- Coordinate Director inductions and governance documentation
- Support updates to Terms of Reference, resolutions and governance records

Business Partner & Relationship Management

- Act as Lifeline Direct's presence within the Lifeline Australia office
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across both organisations
- Help progress contract execution, approvals and strategic initiatives
- Ensure Lifeline Direct is informed, engaged and represented in relevant discussions
- Support collaboration and alignment between both organisations

Skills And Experiences

About You

You are an experienced Executive Assistant, Executive Officer,



Governance Coordinator or Executive Business Partner looking for an opportunity to have broader organisational impact.

You enjoy working at the centre of executive operations, governance and stakeholder relationships and genuinely take pride in helping leaders succeed.

You are known for your professionalism, sound judgement, discretion and ability to build trusted relationships.

You'll bring:

- Experience supporting a CEO or Senior Executives.
- Strong Board, Committee or governance administration experience.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow through.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced and changing workplace.
- Experience using BoardVantage or similar governance platforms (desirable).
