About the role We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable

General Bar & Service Staff

to join our dynamic team at Batemans Bay Soldiers Club. This is a

casual position

based in Batemans Bay NSW 2536. As a valued member of our bar and beverage team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests, contributing directly to the positive reputation and success of our venue.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and serving drinks to members and guests with accuracy and efficiency

Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic bar and service areas at all times

Operating the point-of-sale system and processing payments accurately

Stocking bars, fridges and shelves with beverages and supplies

Providing friendly and professional customer service, responding to member and guest requests promptly

Adhering to responsible service of alcohol practices and venue policies

Assisting with setup and breakdown of events as required

What we're looking for





Previous experience in bar, hospitality or customer service roles (preferred but not essential)

Strong knowledge of pokies, beer, wine and spirits (or willingness to develop this knowledge)

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour

The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays

A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) & RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certification or willingness to obtain one

Basic mathematical ability for handling cash and processing transactions

Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
