Yarning Crescent is an Aboriginal-led commercial cleaning business building a night crew for a recent fleet and facilities contract in Western Sydney.
We are looking for reliable Night Cleaners to join our team across the Blacktown / Hills District area.
This is a hands-on role cleaning a large fleet of vehicles each evening so they are clean, safe and ready for the morning. We have multiple positions available, with opportunities for ongoing work and progression.
THE ROLE
- Clean vehicle interiors, including floors, seating, handrails, windows, ledges and driver areas
- Sweep and vacuum floors and remove litter
- Remove graffiti and report any damage
- Scan each vehicle at the start and finish of the job using your phone
- Take completion photos for each vehicle cleaned
- Work safely around parked and moving vehicles on an operational site
- Complete periodic detail cleans
- Saturday upholstery steam cleaning may be available for additional hours
SHIFT & HOURS
- Night shift: 7:00pm–1:00am
- Rotating 7-day roster
- Weekend availability required
- Approximately 18–30 hours per week
- Part-time and casual positions available
- Permanent part-time opportunities may be available after probation
PAY
Rates are paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020 (MA000022), including applicable night, weekend and public holiday penalties.
Permanent part time rates from:
- $31.14 per hour Monday–Friday nights
- $40.62 per hour Saturdays
- $54.16 per hour Sundays
- $67.70 per hour public holidays
Casual rates from:
- $33.85 per hour Monday–Friday nights
- $47.39 per hour Saturdays
- $60.93 per hour Sundays
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Reliable and punctual people who can consistently attend scheduled shifts
- Ability to work night shifts on a rotating roster, including some weekends
- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for approximately six hours
- Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 15kg
- Smartphone suitable for use during work (or one can be supplied on shift)
- Right to work in Australia
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
- Willingness to complete a site safety induction
EXPERIENCE
Cleaning, warehouse, hospitality, transport or similar experience is helpful but not essential.
Experience working around vehicles, yards or operational sites is an advantage.
Own transport is helpful, although the site is close to public transport.

IMPORTANT START INFORMATION
These positions support a new Western Sydney contract that is currently subject to award.
We are registering interest now for an anticipated November–December 2026 start. Suitable applicants will be contacted as soon as the contract is confirmed.
