Grounds maintenance person needed at a cemetery

Job Title: Garden assistant at a cemetery
A cemetery in the Northern Suburbs is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Garden Maintenance Person to join their team and help maintain the peaceful, respectful setting of our cemetery.

Your duties will include:

- Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas, including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, mulching, and pruning.
- Operate grounds-keeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Perform general outdoor cleaning, such as clearing pathways, removing debris, and maintaining cleanliness of the grounds
- Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.

To be eligible for this position, you must have:- A valid driving licence is needed.- Experience in landscaping, gardening, or cemetery maintenance is essential.- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.- A respectful and compassionate manner towards the bereaved and the deceased.
