What would I be doing?
As a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll across CPL Group, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and organisational policies. You will also contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of high-quality payroll services across the organisation.
This will include:
- Processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis, alongside maintaining accurate employee payroll records and HRIS data.
- Supporting the preparation of end-of-financial-year activities, including payment summaries, reconciliations and audits.
- Ensuring payroll requirements are met across Fair Work, ATO, superannuation and Single Touch Payroll obligations.
- Supporting payroll system testing, upgrades and integrations, while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

What you’ll need
This could include:
- A minimum of 2 years' payroll experience, with demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, Fair Work requirements,
superannuation obligations and award interpretation.
- Experience using payroll and HRIS systems, with Aurion experience as an highly regarded.
- Strong attention to details and organisational skills, with the ability handle confidential information with descretion.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
- A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
- A commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.
- Great listening and respectful communication skills.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help) and National Police Check
