About the role
You will run a senior portfolio within the firm's workers compensation practice and act as a trusted adviser to corporate and insurer clients. You will:
- Manage complex statutory benefits and common law workers compensation matters
- Run your own files with autonomy and Partner support
- Advise corporate clients on strategy and liability exposure
- Prepare high-quality written advice and negotiation strategies
- Gain exposure to a broad range of personal injury and insurance matters
- Contribute to a collaborative, well-resourced national practice
What you'll bring
- 6+ years' PAE in workers compensation, personal injury or insurance litigation
- Admission in NSW and a current practising certificate
- Strong advocacy skills and sound knowledge of the NSW workers compensation scheme
- The ability to manage complex files independently and provide strategic advice
- Strong written communication and a commercial mindset
- Candidates from plaintiff or in-house backgrounds with transferable experience are welcome
