Position: Primary Teacher with Leadership Experience

Commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2027, on a permanent full-time basis, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher with demonstrated leadership experience to join our Primary School.
This role is ideally suited to a passionate educator who brings a strong foundation in primary teaching alongside the ability to lead, mentor and support colleagues. You will play an important role in fostering a positive learning workplace and supporting the ongoing growth of teaching practice across the Primary School.
We are seeking an educator who is enthusiastic about making a meaningful contribution, combining classroom expertise with a collaborative leadership approach to inspire both students and colleagues.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs that are differentiated to meet the diverse needs of students across all KLAs.
- Design learning and teaching experiences that include both explicit instruction and investigative inquiry that deepens learning through authentic engagement.
- Analyse student data to inform teaching practice and maximise student growth to inform adjustments.
- Demonstrate effective classroom practice and contribute to the development and implementation of engaging, evidence-informed teaching programs.
- Utilise positive education and wellbeing practices to strengthen student relationships, enhance resilience and support overall wellbeing.
- Draw upon leadership experience to mentor, guide and support colleagues in their professional practice and development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, collaborative programming and the ongoing evaluation of teaching and learning practices.
- Foster a culture of professional collaboration, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families, contributing to a connected and supportive school community.
- Participate actively in the co-curricular life of the College.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning and leadership development.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- NESA-approved qualification to teach in a Primary setting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated teaching experience within the NSW Curriculum, ideally within an Independent Primary School setting.
- Previous leadership experience, with demonstrated capability to lead, mentor and support colleagues within a school environment.
- Understanding of curriculum, effective teaching practices and student assessment.
- An understanding of the needs of high-potential learners and the ability to support a diverse range of learning needs.
- The ability to support and guide colleagues in implementing evidence-informed teaching strategies and differentiated learning approaches.
- Well-developed collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both students and adults.
- A reflective approach to teaching and leadership, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
- A strong work ethic, displaying initiative, determination, self-motivation and curiosity.
- A genuine passion for inspiring young people to achieve the best version of themselves.
- Understanding and respect for faith based schools.
- A valid Working With Children Check.
