The Maintenance Fitter will ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a semi-automated distribution facility. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager, the role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting packaging machinery, MHE, conveyors and AMR systems. The role will also support preventative maintenance, breakdown response, fabrication, HMI-controlled equipment and continuous improvement projects, with the opportunity to step up and lead the maintenance team when required.
The Role:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing equipment
- Mechanical fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs
- Hydraulic maintenance and fault finding
- Pneumatic maintenance
- Maintain conveyors, packaging equipment, MHE and AMR systems.
- Fabricate and modify components, including MIG and Stick welding.
What We’re Looking For:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter within FMCG or industrial environments
- Solid knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and see tasks through to completion
- Current Forklift High Risk Work Licence.
- EWP licence and Working at Heights training.

- Monday to Friday - 2pm - 10pm
- $112,000 Per annum (inclusive of super) + Phone Allowance
