Roster: Monday to Friday | 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

Cater Care is looking for a passionate Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team in Walkerville. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine your culinary expertise with strong people and operational skills to deliver quality food and exceptional dining experiences every day.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day kitchen operation, including team scheduling, workflow and service delivery
- Oversee menu planning, food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistently high standards of quality and taste
- Manage stock ordering, inventory and food costs, with a strong focus on minimising waste
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and compliance across the kitchen
- Lead by example in an open-kitchen environment, engaging professionally with customers and supporting the wider hospitality team as required

About You

- Experienced Chef Manager,



or Senior Cook holding relevant Trade Qualification and Food Safety Supervisor Certification
- Demonstrated capability in leading small teams, managing daily kitchen workflows, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Well-organised multi-tasker with strong verbal communication skills and basic proficiency in Google Workspace
- Dedicated to maintaining superior food quality, presentation, and workplace safety standards at all times
- Positive, approachable, and adaptable professional who thrives in an open kitchen and readily assists across overall business operations
