Coonamble District Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Community Nursing team on a 17-week contract basis, commencing 12 October 2026. This is an opportunity to deliver nursing care in a community setting, supporting patients in their homes and local healthcare environment. - Community-based nursing care with direct patient contact and clinical autonomy
- 17-week contract position, 12 October 2026 to 7 February 2027
- Work within a supportive regional healthcare team at Coonamble District Hospital

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in community nursing or primary healthcare settings




- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritise care needs effectively
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel within the local community

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in community health nursing
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
