Goodline is seeking an experienced HSE Superintendent to lead Health, Safety and Environmental performance across our operations in Weipa, Queensland.
This is a permanent residential relocation opportunity for a safety leader who is passionate about creating high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide strategic HSE leadership across maintenance, construction and mining-related operations while supporting Goodline's commitment to an incident-free workplace.
This is not a FIFO position. We are seeking candidates who are looking to relocate and become part of the Weipa community long-term.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a positive and proactive safety culture across all operations
- Provide strategic HSE leadership, coaching and support to operational teams
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, environmental obligations and client requirements
- Develop, implement and continuously improve HSE management systems and processes
- Mentor and develop HSE personnel and operational leaders
About You
- Previous experience in a HSE Superintendent, Senior HSE Advisor or HSE Management role
- Demonstrated experience within mining, construction, maintenance or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence at all levels
