As part of our Grid Connection team, you will gain hands-on experience across wind farm and battery energy storage (BESS) projects, learning how large-scale renewable energy projects are connected to the Australian electricity grid.

We are looking for applications from students who are graduating this year - 2026, to be part of the Goldwind Graduate Program! Note: Please include a cover letter with your application.
As part of our Grid Team, you will:
- Participate in a structured 24-month graduate development program.
- Learn from experienced Grid Connection and Power Systems professionals.
- Gain exposure to utility-scale wind, BESS and hybrid renewable energy projects.
- Develop an understanding of power systems, network connections and the National Electricity Market (NEM).
- Work with industry stakeholders including AEMO,
network service providers and engineering consultants.
- Participate in technical studies, project development, commissioning and operational activities.
- Build the foundations for a long-term career in renewable energy and power systems.
Your Background
We are seeking motivated graduates who are passionate about renewable energy and Australia's energy transition.
You will ideally have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
- A strong interest in renewable energy, electricity networks and power systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Robust communication and teamwork abilities.
- A willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced project environment.
Previous exposure to power systems, energy networks or renewable energy through university studies, internships or projects will be highly regarded but is not essential.
