Radford College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Science Teacher to join the Secondary School team in a fixed-term position for Term 4, 2026. This is a full-time role, teaching across Years 7-10.

There is a possibility of a permanent, full-time position in 2027 teaching across all year levels, including Years 11-12.

About you

The successful candidate will be an energetic secondary educator who will have:

- Demonstrate the ability to teach Years 7 – 10 Science, with experiencing teaching Years 11-12 highly desirable
- A strong passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
- The ability to create engaging, inclusive, and appropriately challenging learning environments that support the success of all students.
- A commitment to creative teaching practices and the application of evidence-based pedagogical approaches.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

Teaching qualification recognised by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)

Current Teacher Quality Institute registration, including Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration

Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
