What:
We are seeking a new or experienced Vac Truck Operator to assist with a range of current civil construction projects in Far North Queensland. To be successful in this position you will hold a current HR licence as a minimum and take pride in your work including machinery upkeep and maintenance.
You will need to:
- Safely transport the heavy vehicle between sites and correctly position/reposition it for operations
- Operate controls to dig and remove spoil, locate underground services
- Carry out daily prestart check and basic maintenance
- Work with multiple supervisors across a range of sites
- Undertake daily inspections, monitor and complete minor maintenance tasks.
- Operate in a safe manner to protect others and keep machines in good working order
