Geelong Holiday Park offers a range of accommodation and facilities to suit every family. We are currently looking for aPart- Time OR Full-Time motivated and hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Officer.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the presentation, safety and functionality of the Parks grounds, communal areas and facilities.
Working closely with the Park Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the park to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, safe and well-presented environment.
The role involves physically demanding work, including regular manual handling and lifting, along with the protected and competent use of power tools and maintenance equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- General grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, hedging and landscaping
- Maintaining gardens, lawns and communal outdoor areas
- Operating grounds and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Upkeep of the park's facilities and common areas
- Assisting with minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues to the Park Manager
- Maintaining a clean, safe and well-presented environment
- Supporting the wider team with general property upkeep as required
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard.
The successful applicant will possess:
Previous experience in grounds, gardening or property maintenance preferred
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, carrying and repetitive physical activities
- Confidence safely operating power tools and maintenance equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining presentation standards
- A reliable, proactive and safety-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A friendly and respectful manner when working within a residential community
