WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?
Depending on your experience, your days could include:
- Air conditioning diagnostics, servicing and repairs
- Fault finding – and actually finding the fault
- Refrigeration and cooling system work
- Automotive air conditioning
- Electrical diagnosis and repairs
- Installation and replacement of components
- Pressure testing and leak detection
- General workshop duties
- Learning areas you haven't worked in before
- Helping us continue building one of the best aftermarket workshops in the Riverina
If you come from a refrigeration/HVAC background rather than automotive , don't automatically rule yourself out.

HERE'S THE NON-NEGOTIABLE BIT...
You need to:
- Turn up.
This one seems obvious, but apparently it needs saying.
- Be reliable and on time
- Be clean and well presented
- Know how to problem-solve without needing someone to hold your hand
- Take pride in your work
- Be able to talk to customers and other humans
- Work well with a team
- Be willing to learn
- Have a current driver's licence
- Hold the relevant trade/licensing qualifications for the work you undertake
- Have an attitude better than "that'll do"
If you're the type of person who sees something that needs doing and just does it , you'll fit in beautifully.
If your favourite sentence is "that's not my job" , probably keep scrolling.
