About the Role

This is a full-time role based in our Bundall office on the Gold Coast. You’ll work in the office alongside the team.

The role combines a steady flow of enquiries and smaller transactions with larger,



more complex placements. You’ll need to manage your workload, follow up consistently and maintain qualified standards as you grow your client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Understanding clients’ businesses and insurance needs
- Comparing cover and recommending suitable insurance options
- Arranging commercial insurance across business packs, construction, trucks, plant and equipment, trades and more
- Negotiating with insurers, including for complex risks
- Managing enquiries, quotes, follow-ups and renewals
- Building lasting client relationships through sound advice and reliable service
- Maintaining accurate records and meeting compliance requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who take ownership of their work and want to build a long-term career.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in insurance broking or sales, including finance, real estate, retail, hospitality or telco
- Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone
- Consistent follow-up and good attention to detail
- The ability to work efficiently across multiple enquiries
- Resilience, drive and accountability
- A willingness to learn, accept feedback and contribute to the team

Insurance experience is welcome but isn’t essential. We provide structured training for suitable salespeople moving into broking.

Professional Standards

Strong results start with understanding the client and arranging suitable cover. We expect thorough fact-finding, clear advice, accurate records and consistent service throughout the client relationship.

Shortlisted candidates will complete a TestGorilla assessment covering relevant skills and suitability for the role. A police check is also required.
