Dental Assistant – Full Time | Castle Hill | Monday to Friday

Full-time, stable Monday-to-Friday role in a modern Castle Hill dental practice.

Smilogy Dental Clinics is looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our Castle Hill team.

This is a full time Monday-to-Friday position with no weekend work .

About the role

You will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to help keep the surgery running smoothly and provide an excellent experience for our patients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Chairside assisting

- Preparing surgeries for treatment

- Sterilisation and infection control

- Instrument processing

- Surgery changeovers between patients

- Assisting with fillings, crowns, bridges, endodontics and extractions

- Assisting with cosmetic and restorative procedures

- Intraoral scanning and digital workflows

- Maintaining stock and keeping surgeries organised

- Supporting nervous or anxious patients





- Helping the wider team and reception when required

Who we're looking for

You don't need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be someone who is reliable, organised and willing to take initiative .

You will ideally have:

- Previous dental assisting experience

- Strong communication and patient care skills

- Good understanding of infection control

- A professional and friendly manner

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

- Good attention to detail

- A positive, team-focused attitude

- Confidence working without needing constant direction

A Certificate III in Dental Assisting is desirable but not essential for an experienced candidate.

Experience with intraoral scanners, digital dentistry or dental practice management software is an advantage.
