About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR / L&D; professional looking for a varied role that combines hands-on HR support with learning and development.
You'll work closely with managers and stakeholders across the business, providing practical HR support while also coordinating and delivering learning initiatives that build capability across the workforce.
You'll have genuine ownership of projects, the opportunity to build robust stakeholder relationships and the ability to see the direct impact of your work.
What you'll be doing
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
- Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, performance,
development and engagement
- Coordinate learning and development programs across the business
- Work with stakeholders to identify training and capability needs
- Coordinate training sessions, schedules, attendance and reporting
- Support the development of training materials and learning resources
- Support HR projects, people initiatives and continuous improvement
- Prepare HR and L&D; reports, documentation and communications
- Build strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders
About you
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, L&D; Advisor or similar role
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals and the Australian employment landscape
- Experience coordinating learning and development initiatives
- Confident communicating and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership
- Experience within retail, multi-site or high-volume environments will be highly regarded
