About the Role
This hands-on position involves setting up and operating industrial multi-head embroidery machines while ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality embroidered garments within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, thread and operate industrial embroidery machines
- Load and position garments using hoops and frames
- Monitor machine performance throughout production runs
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure embroidery meets specifications
- Troubleshoot thread breaks, needle issues and minor machine faults
- Adjust thread tension and machine settings as required
- Read and interpret job sheets and embroidery designs
- Perform routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance
- Maintain a safe and organised work setting
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience operating industrial embroidery machines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production setting
Highly Regarded
- Experience operating Barudan embroidery machines
- Previous experience within the garment, textile or apparel industry
- Own reliable transport
- Flexibility to work casual, part-time or full-time weekday hours
