About the Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you’ll take a leading role across the design and delivery of a variety of structural projects, working closely with clients, architects, builders and other consultants. The project portfolio is predominantly concrete structures, including:
- Leading structural design and analysis from concept through to completion
- Preparing detailed designs, documentation, reports and specifications
- Providing practical and economical solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Managing multiple projects across varying sizes and levels of complexity
- Working directly with clients and project stakeholders
- Coordinating with architects, builders and services engineers
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting during construction
- Managing project scope, timeframes, costs, resourcing and invoicing
- Ensuring designs meet Australian Standards, relevant codes and client requirements
About You
You’ll be an experienced Structural Engineer with ideally with a strong background in concrete structures. We’re looking for someone who has:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Strong structural design and analysis experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good client management and relationship-building skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- A practical understanding of project scope, cost and delivery requirements
- Experience with Space Gass, RAM Concept and/or RAPT would be highly regarded.
