Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, the Injury Management Advisor (IMA) provides clinical guidance and support to Case Managers, helping to deliver evidence-based injury management and sustainable return to work outcomes.
Please note: This is a fixed term contract until Feb 2027.
About You
- You are an experienced professional with a strong understanding of injury recovery, rehabilitation and return to work principles.
- You are confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders and enjoy mentoring others to achieve positive outcomes.
You will bring:
- A qualification in an allied health or health-related discipline (such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing or a similar field)
- Experience developing and implementing injury management and return to work plans
- The ability to assess clinical information and collaborate with treating practitioners to achieve the best recovery outcomes
- Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to support and develop Case Managers
- Experience facilitating case conferences, claims reviews and stakeholder discussions
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology, treatment pathways and rehabilitation principlesstrong>
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A genuine passion for supporting people through their recovery journey
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or Workers Compensation
- Knowledge of injury management legislation and return to work frameworks
- Project improvement or quality assurance experience
