Head of Department / Senior Property Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Property Manager or Head of Department ready to take ownership of a well-established property management department Inner North Brisbane.
With a portfolio of approximately 250 properties , you’ll work alongside another experienced Property Manager, with additional support for inspections and out-of-office duties, as well as VA assistance.
This is a great prospect for someone who enjoys being hands-on but also wants the autonomy to improve processes, implement better systems and play a key role in the continued growth of the department whilst nurturing existing staff.

The Role

- Oversee a portfolio of approximately 250 properties, split between two Property Managers
- Take ownership of the day-to-day Property Management department
- Lead, support and work closely with the Property Management team
- Review and improve systems, procedures and efficiencies
- Assist with department growth and ongoing improvements
- Build strong relationships with owners, tenants and key stakeholders




- Ensure compliance and high service standards across the portfolio
- Work closely with Directors on the future direction of the department
- Part-time support for inspections and out-of-office duties, 3 days per week
- VA support
- Flexibility and autonomy within the role

About You

- Strong Property Management experience
- Previous Senior Property Manager, Team Leader or HOD experience highly regarded
- Confident managing and improving systems and procedures
- Strong knowledge of QLD legislation and compliance
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, solutions-focused and hands-on
- Comfortable taking ownership and making the role your own
- Passionate about building a high-performing Property Management department
