- We are seeking an outgoing pool and learning assistant
- Support students inside and outside of the pool
- Full time, Term time only commencing 2027 school year

About The Role

Working within the culture and ethos of the school, the Pool Assistant will work actively as part of the Health and Exercise Science Faculty (Senior School) and PE (Primary School) Department to deliver the swimming programs.

This role will work closely with students from K - 12 to ensure their safety and confidence in the pool and assist the teachers with smooth delivery of lessons.

As a Learning Assistant, you will work alongside classroom Teachers as part of a cooperative team and provide a vibrant, dynamic and innovative educational program for our students.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to assume a support position in a highly effective and prestigious school in the pool and the classroom.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

- Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals
- Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Well-developed organisational skills that will assist in the teaching of effective learning behaviours to students
- The ability to support students and teachers in Senior School and Primary School
- The ability to assist with the general health and well-being of students
- Support in the day-to-day activities of the Pool and responsible for the poolside patrol and water safety
- A current Bronze Medallion Qualification
- Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable




- Experience supporting daily operations of a pool

- Appropriate qualifications
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check
- Full working rights within Australia
