About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Pest and Disease Scoutto join our Berry team at Corindi, NSW on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Horticulturist, this role plays animportant part in supporting healthy, productive berry crops through effectivepest and disease monitoring, integrated pest management activities, andaccurate reporting. You will work across our blueberry, raspberry andblackberry production systems, helping to identify emerging risks and supportdecision-making that protects crop health, yield and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Conductroutine pest and disease scouting across blueberry, raspberry andblackberry crops
- Monitor,service and record data from insect traps as part of integrated pestmanagement programs
- Assistwith the release and monitoring of beneficial insects
- Accuratelyidentify and report pests, diseases and crop health issues
- Communicatefindings and emerging risks to the Horticulturist
- Supportfield trials and data collection activities
- Maintainaccurate scouting records, observations and reporting documentation
- Adhereto Costa's Work Health and Safety, Food Safety and Quality requirements
- Fosterpositive working relationships and demonstrate Costa values in allactivities
Skills and Experience
- Qualificationin Horticulture, Agriculture or a related discipline is desirable
- Passionfor horticulture, plant health and crop production systems
- Knowledgeof pest and disease management principles is advantageous
- Strongattention to detail and ability to work with field data
- Excellentcommunication and organisational skills
- Abilityto work independently and as part of a team
- Abilityto perform field-based work in varying outdoor conditions
- Currentdriver's licence
