The firm is seeking an experienced Corporate / Commercial Legal Assistant to join their team and provide high-level support within a busy and sophisticated practice.
About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a career Legal Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial workplace and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive team.
You will provide day-to-day support across corporate and commercial matters, including:
- Managing diaries, emails and competing priorities
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Coordinating meetings and client appointments
- Maintaining matter files and ensuring deadlines are met
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
- Assisting with transaction documentation and matter progression
- Supporting billing and general administration requirements
About You
This role would suit a career Legal Assistant who is passionate about legal support and building a long-term career within the profession. It would not be suited to someone currently studying law and looking to transition into a graduate pathway.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience supporting lawyers within a corporate/commercial practice
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and client-focused approach
- Experience supporting Partners and senior lawyers highly regarded
