About the Role
As Events Supervisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating and leading event operations while maintaining exceptional service standards and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating staff during events
- Ensuring events are set up, executed and packed down to a high standard
- Leading by example and providing hands‑on support during service
- Briefing and allocating staff to ensure smooth operations
- Liaising with clients, guests, kitchen teams, management and suppliers
- Maintaining high food,
beverage and service standards
- Managing event timelines and responding effectively to operational issues
- Monitoring venue presentation, cleanliness and safety
- Assisting with staff training and development
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Completing event checks and ensuring operational requirements are met
About You
You'll be a confident hospitality professional with a passion for events and exceptional service.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous experience in an Events Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role
- Experience coordinating corporate and social events
- Strong customer service and organisational skills
- The ability to lead and motivate a team in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- A calm and professional approach under pressure
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- A current RSA Competency Card
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
