We are Melbourne Estate Styling Group, a property styling company based in Brunswick East VIC. We are currently looking for an amazing stylist to join our team!
We provide exceptional styling services designed to enhance the appeal of properties while achieving the best possible sale result.
It is a very hands on position so you need to have a positive can-do attitude to fit in with our team. Expect to be on your feet most of the day, packing, unpacking and lifting all with a smile. Though some experience is preferred we are happy to train you from the ground up! If you have the desire to grow in this team and have the ambition to go further there is potential to grow in this position.
Property Stylist
The applicant
- Will work within a busy, fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Have a great eye and passion for interiors and styling
- Will be able to work seamlessly with a team, but promptly and efficiently on their own
- Will have excellent people skills
- Will need to be highly organised and have great time management
- Will have strong attention to detail
- Will maintain a positive attitude in pressured environments
- Will have the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Will need to be relatively fit and healthy as the job has you on your feet for most of the day and can be physically demanding at times
- Not be precious about rolling up your sleeves and working hard when needed
- Will have flexible approach to work hours, we usually start around 7am and most of the time finish in the afternoon, however at times earlier or later than that depending on what the jobs require. It's a team effort to make our job deadlines and tasks work.
- Will have their own car and current driver's license to travel to jobs as necessary
The position
- Will see you style all kinds of properties
- Will have you prepare and select furniture and decorative items from our warehouse
- Have the ability to forecast and monitor stock
- Site visits and measurements of properties to be styled
- Installing - which includes unpacking of decor, setting up, coordinating, styling, steaming beds and light cleaning
- General housekeeping including unpacking and packing of decor at the warehouse and tidying of common work areas to prevent stock damage and maintain efficiency
